Nikon D7000 gets early unboxing as Best Buy start selling [Video]

Nikon's D7000 DSLR isn't expected to go on sale for a few days yet, but it seems Best Buy can't quite help themselves; the lure of taking money from customers' wallets when there's perfectly good stock sitting around in warehouses is too great, and so we've got the first two unboxing videos from lucky D7000 owners Geoff and PanicInJune.  The 16.2-megapixel camera isn't exactly brimming with surprise inside the box, but it's always nice to get a sneak preview.

Nikon D7100 overshadowed by fabulous WR-1 Transceiver

This week the Nikon D7100 APS-C camera has been revealed with a fabulous new 24.1-megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor as well as a beastly EXPEED 3 image processing engine. But it may be the WR-1 Transceiver that gains our attention the most here in the current season - this little monster gives your camera some rather excellent wireless control - and range therein. Nikon D600 full-frame DSLR tipped for September

It appears that the next generation in inexpensive high-quality cameras may be right around the corner as a report this morning has the Nikon D600 set for a September release. This camera will bring full-frame DSLR action to your mitts for somewhere around $1,500 USD, cutting the price of Nikon's current full-frame DSLR the D800 in half. How fabulous would it be for you to only have to drop less than a couple K for a camera that's quite close to the quality you, up until now, had to drop $3 grand on?

This week the folks at Nikon France have made themselves the first to tell the world when the Nikon D4, D800, and D800E would be released. Each of these cameras have been announced previously without solid release dates in-tact.
