Motorola XPRT Hands-On and Unboxing

Today in the SlashGear labs we have another Android phone to show you all. This is the Motorola XPRT. Aimed right at all those Blackberry users. The XPRT was recently unveiled in NYC back in June and our man Chris Burns was there live to capture the moment and you can see all about that right here. The Motorola XPRT is an updated version of the Droid Pro released on Verizon a while back and looks very similar and we reviewed that too. Head down past the break for the rest of the details.

Motorola XOOM 4G Could Be The Mystery Verizon Tablet?

Motorola XOOM 4G Could Be The Mystery Verizon Tablet?

Earlier this week, Verizon released a new commercial via YouTube to tout the speeds of its LTE network calling itself "the one network powerful enough to set your tablet free." During the short 30-second spot, there was a brief clip of a woman holding an as of yet unidentified tablet. This, of course, caused a stir of speculation as to what this mystery tablet could be.

Motorola XPRT Officially Announced in NYC

Motorola XPRT Officially Announced in NYC

What you're about to see is not an illusion. While it may look to you like the device you're seeing is the DROID Pro, you'd be mistaken. This instead is the Motorola XPRT, a device that's essentially the exact same device with a few tiny differences in the hardware. Where the device carried previously by Verizon had a 1420 mAh and an OK but not perfect amount of uptime, this new version contains a much more generous 1860mAh battery for a larger amount of time between charges. Then the keyboard is a tiny bit different from the device you've seen in the past, and the corners have a slightly different roundness to them.

Motorola XOOM 2, Slimline, Targa, Zaha, and more Leaked in Web Mishap

In this leak you're going to find images (and sparse details) about the Motorola XOOM 2, Slimline, Zaha, Targa, and a Dick Tracy watch by the name of Tracy XL. Sound like a good roundup?

Motorola XOOM and ATRIX 4G sales failures claims analyst

Motorola XOOM and ATRIX 4G sales failures claims analyst

Motorola's XOOM tablet and ATRIX 4G smartphone sales have reportedly "been disappointing" according to one analyst's channel checks, with sell-through trends suggesting that the smartphone in particular has been impacted by cheap, $49 rivals. Pacific Crest's James Faucette, quotes Forbes, claims the popularity of the iPhone 3GS and HTC Inspire - each of which undercut the ATRIX significantly in AT&T's smartphone line-up - has meant sales were "well below forecast."
