PSA: How to free up space on your Microsoft Surface Pro

This week we're hearing quite a few responses from the public on their surprise at the amount of actual usable hard drive space on the new Microsoft Surface Pro. While the standard ways to free up the space taken up by apps, photos, and videos that you don't necessarily need, there's also a slightly more dangerous route you might take. One of the largest space-users on the Microsoft Surface Pro (see our full review here) is the Windows 8 on-board recovery partition.

Microsoft Surface Pro available now in the US and Canada

Right on schedule, Microsoft's Surface Pro is now available to purchase for prospective buyers in the US and Canada. Microsoft Surface Pro vs MacBook Air: a convenience war

This week we've gotten our hands on the Microsoft Surface Pro for an extended review, and one of the first things to strike us was the idea that this device might be another competitor for the MacBook Air. Microsoft Surface Pro Review

Brent Thill now says that Microsoft only managed to sell 1 million tablets during the quarter, which wrapped up in January. This isn't the first doom and gloom story we've heard about Surface RT, and it isn't likely to be the last.

Microsoft Surface RT makes first appearance in UK stores

Microsoft Surface RT makes first appearance in UK stores

US consumers have enjoyed access to Microsoft's new Surface tablet at brick and mortar stores since launch, but up until today, UK consumers have been forced to purchase their tablets online. That's no longer the case, as department store John Lewis has starting offering Surface RT tablets on its shelves. This, of course, will give UK consumers the chance to get some hands-on time in with the device before committing to a purchase, which is always a pretty big deal.
