What you'll be seeing here is a couple of angles on what one of history's most infamous game heros has been up to courtesy of Keiji Inafune, showing off some of how this little fellow will be getting along with his placeholder enemies. iPhone 6 camera tipped to retain 8-megapixel sensor

It’s been suggested this week by suppliers overseas that Apple’s next iPhone will continue to work with an 8-megapixel sensor. While this - for those of you only counting these megapixels - means that the end resulting photos will be the same amount of pixels wide and tall, there’s still plenty of room left for improving the resulting images therein. It’s also been suggested that Apple’s current OIS - optical image stabilization - will be improved in their upcoming engine.

With little doubt of its ability to shine in the face of the massive amount of non-unique cameras in the field, the Panono throwable panoramic ball camera has, this week, been revealed to be working with 108 megapixels of shooting power. This is the first time a consumer camera has broken the 100 megapixel point - or gotten even close to it, as it were. It’s all added up with an array of shooters, the ball capturing one single massive photo in a single stitched-together shot.

Strike Vector beta approaches: high-flying mega-structure indy battle action ahoy

This week the folks behind the indy-produced aerial combat game Strike Vector have let it be known that an open beta is near ready for release for those that wish to test it. This game has flown under the radar - so to speak - since inception, having gained steam in the headline rings for the amazing feat that was its production primarily. The first 10 months of development were done by just 4 developers, then the follow 5 months saw 15 developers total - now we're about to see one of the most impressive planet-side flight battle games ever made - from the looks of it, at least.

Department of Justice report details case against Kim Dotcom, former Megaupload leaders

Kim Dotcom, the man behind Mega, the successor of the now-defunct Megaupload, has been the subject of a long-lived investigation, the details of which were revealed today in a 191-page report by the Department of Justice. The seven defendants in the case, among them being Dotcom, are currently located in New Zealand, and have been hit with many charges, including copyright infringement.
