New Mass Effect 3 ending available for download on Xbox

I never really understood all the uproar centering on the ending of Mass Effect 3. Dead, is never really dead in a science fiction video game. I'm sure if the developers wanted to bring Shepherd and crew back for a fourth installment, they could figure out some way to make that inconvenient death go away. Still, there were lots of people that were very angry at the ending of the video game.

Mass Effect 3 multiplayer challenges finally approved for PS3

After months of injustice, the same online multiplayer challenges that Mass Effect 3 players on the Xbox 360 and PC have been taking for granted are now confirmed for the PS3. BioWare recently confirmed that it was because of Sony, not BioWare, that these online challenges were not being offered through the PlayStation Network. Sony responded to say it was looking into figuring out a solution.

New Mass Effect 3 multiplayer event reminds PS3 players of injustice

A new Mass Effect 3 multiplayer event has just been announced, and in the wake of the tension that has been struck over the fact that Sony for some reason has blocked such events on the PS3, it's drawing a heated reaction. The new event is called Operation Exorcist. It tasks players with killing no fewer than one million Cerberus Phantom creatures. If they complete the challenge, they win a Victory pack.

Sony PS3 Mass Effect 3 multiplayer events may be coming soon

Sony PS3 Mass Effect 3 multiplayer events may be coming soon

Apparently Sony is working on getting the online multiplayer events for Mass Effect 3, which have until now only been live on the Xbox 360 and PC, to the PS3 console. A lot of hubbub was made over the last several days after it was revealed that it was Sony's fault, not game developer Bioware's, because for some inexplicable reason Sony was preventing the events from happening on the PlayStation Network.

EA’s Mass Effect 3 online multiplayer events barred on PS3

EA’s Mass Effect 3 online multiplayer events barred on PS3

The online component of EA and Bioware smash hit Mass Effect 3 is a little bit muddled on the PS3. To help keep things interesting in the online multiplayer world, developer Bioware has been running numerous promotions, such as the ability to gain extra XP or receiving bonuses for completing various tasks. However, perhaps unknown to those playing the game on the Xbox 360 or PC, none of this stuff has been making its way to the PS3 version of the game.

EA’s Mass Effect 3 far outselling on Xbox 360 over PS3

EA’s Mass Effect 3 far outselling on Xbox 360 over PS3

Mass Effect 3 will hardly be the first video game to have sold more units on the Xbox 360 than the PS3. There are more Xbox 360 consoles in households so that simply stands to reason. But few games are being outsold on the Microsoft platform by a margin as large as this one. In fact, the Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 3 is moving units at a rate of four-to-one over the PS3 edition.

Mass Effect 3 devs exploring alternative endings

Mass Effect 3 developers BioWare have moved to address gamer criticism of the ending of the much-anticipated title, promising more answers to players' lingering frustrations at how the trilogy ends in April. BioWare co-founder Dr Ray Muzkya took to the company's official blog to publicly acknowledge the furore, revealing that the game's developers "are hard at work on a number of game content initiatives that will help answer the questions, providing more clarity for those seeking further closure to their journey."
