Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Review

, Apr 11th 2012 Discuss [0]

There’s a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet in town, and this one is what Samsung hopes will be a whole new experience driver for the whole hardware family. What we’ve got here instead is Samsung’s suite of connected services encapsulated in one machine – and it feels nice to use, too!

, Jan 20th 2012 Discuss [9]

What you've for here is a sort of casing for the notebook made of birch plywood, pine wood, brass, and copper. All of these materials are true to the "Steampunk" style, if you're familiar, and the laptop is fully functional. Read The Full Story

, Dec 1st 2010 Discuss [0]

While Verizon may be waiting to officially announce everything courtesy of a press conference, it looks like the company just couldn't wait to pull the curtain off their brand new website, which features plenty of details in of itself. It has the same flare as the commercial we've seen earlier in the month, and there's even a nice introduction the site, with a lot of electricity. But, while the flashiness may be enough for some people to get excited about Verizon's LTE network, it's the details that matter to most everyone else. Read The Full Story

My Favorite Dentist

, Jul 26th 2010 Discuss [2]

On the night my son was born, I was a couple hundred miles away, hurtling north on the New Jersey turnpike trying to get home in time. I had my mother next to me, but my wife was alone in Morristown, NJ, where we lived. She wasn’t due for another three weeks, and I had been in my hometown of Columbia, Md, for a dental appointment.

Aren’t there dentists in New Jersey? I’m sure there are, and probably even good ones. But for most of my life, since I was a very young child, I’ve had the same dentist: my father. He’s actually a very good dentist, and besides our familial relationship, if I were any normal patient I’d probably want to keep him even after I moved away.

Oh, it just gets better and better.  Hot on the already pretty sparking heels of the 5870 EYEFINITY 6/6S/2GD5 comes the card we've perhaps really been waiting for, the ASUS Republic of Gamers MATRIX 5870.  First spotted in the wild last month, the ROG MATRIX 5870 takes ATI's new Radeon HD 5870, tickles the core GPU clock speed to 894MHz and then throws in ASUS' Super Hybrid Engine (SHE) that automatically overclocks the card depending on what it's being used for.  So, ASUS reckon, you'll see an average 19-percent performance boost in FPS games set to maximum detail, or a whopping 50-percent boost to 2D graphics.
