Packing a 4.3-inch LG NOVA IPS display - albeit running only at WVGA resolution - along with an 8-megapixel camera and NFC, the PRADA Phone runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread right now but has an ICS upgrade in the works. The PRADA Phone by LG 3.0 will hit UK shelves in early February, retailers have confirmed, with the unlocked Android 2.3 smartphone priced at £429.99 ($666) including tax. Supplies are expected sometime within the week commencing February 6, according to Clove, just ahead of MWC 2012. LG Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update schedule dropped

The folks at LG have let known today what and when they plan on doing with their active line of smart devices in regards to the newest Google-made mobile operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. What they've got on the books as of today is a "global upgrade schedule" beginning in the second and third quarters of 2012, followed then by a "global roll out." There is a list, of course, which we're hoping LG will follow implicitly, as they promise that they're "taking all possible measure to offer a smooth OS upgrade in a timely manner."
