LG GD510 “Pop”: style & solar charging, but short on specs

, Sep 30th 2009 Discuss [0]

Sometimes a gadget comes along that is so pretty that, when you realise it has a spec-sheet more barren than the Sahara, you can't help but tear at your chest and roar.  LG's GD510 "Pop" isn't quite so bad as all that, but it's a handsome 3-inch touchscreen phone - the most compact ever with such a screen-size, they say - with a brushed aluminum body that throws out most of the things we take for granted in today's handsets.  WiFi we can live without, but a handset lacking 3G?  For shame! LG BL40 Gets A Look Over and Compared

, Aug 25th 2009 Discuss [0]

LG hasn't always been known of releasing strange looking phones, but chalk it up to the BL40 to take that prize, and wear the belt proudly. There is something to gain from having an elongated screen, sure, like watching videos on your new-fangled device, but we can't help but wonder about every day use. And it looks like the guys over at Mobile Review are feeling the same way, after having some time to play around with it and take a plethora of snapshots. Read The Full Story
