The Lenovo IdeaPad K1 is a consumer tablet that we've seen more details of in previous leaks, slated for a July release. The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet, on the other hand, has remained more mysterious is believed to be designed for enterprise. Both are Android Honeycomb tablets and set to launch any day now.

Lenovo IdeaPad K1 Honeycomb tablet finally up for pre-order

Lenovo's IdeaPad K1 Android tablet has turned up for pre-order at Amazon, priced at $499.99 though with no sign of a ship date at present. What we do get is confirmation of US specs, which are broadly in line with previously leaked listings: NVIDIA's dual-core Tegra 2 1GHz processor, a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 300 nit capacitive touchscreen supporting 10-point multitouch, and all in a 10.4 x 7.4 x 0.52 inch chassis weighing 1.65 pounds.

Lenovo IdeaPad K1 Android tablet coming late June or early July

You might recall back on June 16 we said that the Lenovo IdeaPad K1 tablet had been confirmed for a July launch. Lenovo has now confirmed via an update to its affiliate network in the US that the K1 could be coming a bit earlier than we though. Lenovo lists the official launch for the K1 as late June or early July. That would put the launch of the Android tablet any day now since this is the last week of June.
