Lenovo has launched a trio of new tablets, including a 5-inch LePad/IdeaTab S2005 tablet/phone hybrid, and 7-inch and 10.1-inch slates to sate your browsing the multimedia needs. The LePad S2007 and S2010 will hit China in December, Engadget Chinese reports, running a 1.5GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and a 1280 x 800 IPS display; however, Lenovo also apparently has a separate Tegra 3 tablet, the IdeaTab K2 leaked earlier this month, for the international market.

Lenovo LePad K2 Tegra 3 tablet benchmarks look to take on ASUS

We're all well aware by now that the first quad-core Android tablet in the world will indeed by the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime, complete with NVIDIA Tegra 3 - but here comes the second, a Lenovo device that this week has appeared in benchmark tests showing its upcoming might. What we've got so far for specifications on this yet to be formally announced device is a 10.1-inch display, NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad-core processor, and indeed the code-name LePad K2. While this may end up becoming the real release name of the tablet, we'll just have to wait and see, as believe it or not, ASUS still has the only announced and official device out there thus far with Tegra 3 onboard.

Lenovo LePad Tablet Due in December, U1 Coming Later as Separate Dock

Lenovo's LePad and U1 Hybrid tablet/notebook contraption was probably one of the best looking, and most talked about pieces of tech to hit this side of the world in a long while. The talk only bumped up when there was "confirmation" that the Tablet duo devices was canned, and wouldn't be seeing a release after all. And then it was resurrected as an Android-based device, heading towards China. And now there's a confirmation that that is indeed the case -- the LePad tablet is being released in December, and the U1 will be a separate dock that gets released later.

Lenovo: LePad US launch in 2011; $15m app investment fund founded

Lenovo is talking tablets again, with Chief Executive Yang Yuanqing reconfirming the company's plans to launch the LePad in the US sometime in 2011, alongside its Chinese launch. Last month, CEO Rory Read said Lenovo would hold off from launching an Android-powered slate until Honeycomb, Google's tablet-centric version of the open-source OS; Froyo (and, presumably, the imminent Android 2.3 Gingerbread) were not "the right base to have a fully functioning pad" Read suggested. Now the company has taken software into its own hands, kicking off a significant tablet app investment program.

Analysts claim there could be a new leader in the PC market, with the possibility of Lenovo overtaking Hewlett-Packard’s top spot before the end of the year. Lenovo LeTV smart TV coming Q1 2012

Lenovo is the latest company to plan a smart TV push, with the Chinese firm announcing it plans to unveil the first "LeTV" - along with a cloud service for shared multimedia - in Q1 2012. The company declined to detail the LeTV technically, the WSJ reports, leaving questions around whether it will be another win for Google TV or instead run a home-grown OS.
