What with all the talk about Apple's potential iSlate tablet recently, we've almost neglected speculation about the fourth-generation iPhone HD.  Rumors have reignited over in South Korea, however, as newspaper The Korea Times claims to have heard from carrier KT Telecom - Apple's current carrier partner in the country - that the next-gen iPhone could arrive as early as April 2010 complete with an OLED display and video-chat functionality, as well as faster performance and more power flexibilty. Apple Tablet coming with “Cocktail” interactive album extras?

Apple's internet tablet, aka the Apple Media Pad, has racked up another mainstream press mention over the weekend, with the Financial Times reporting that the "up to 10-inch" device will arrive in time for the holidays and potentially be launched alongside a new interactive media system that record companies hope will drive digital album sales.  Codenamed "Cocktail" according to those familiar with the project, the system has seen Apple partner with EMI, Sony Music, Warner Music and Universal Music Group, to develop a package of interactive booklet, sleeve and other information. Apple eying LG OLED for iPhone, touchscreen netbook, more?

A deal with Kodak isn't the only LG OLED rumor around today; according to Australian site Smarthouse, LG will be providing Apple with a whole range of OLED displays for use in their desktop, media device and portable device ranges.  Quoting sources inside LG Korea, they claim the OLED panels will see service in a new iPhone and iPod touch later this year. Apple keep insisting on disappointing us with the news that they won't be making a netbook, but that doesn't stop the industrial designers and Photoshop-addicts coming up with their own take on what such an ultraportable might look like.  Famed designer Isamu Sanada is responsible for these renders, which suggest a double-hinge design reminiscent of the Sony VAIO P's dimensions, with a dual-sided touchpad area. According to Isamu, his dream MacCube would be powered by Core 2 Duo 2.33GHz processor, equipped with NVIDIA 7600GT, SuperDrive, Airport Extreme, bluetooth, gigabit ethernet, and more.
