I love a good smartphone. I work for Samsung, and I carry a Galaxy S II that I’ve been “testing” for an extended period of time. I use just about every feature on it. I listen to music. I navigate. I talk and text. I take pictures and video. I’ve even read books on it. I’m not pushing my product, I can hardly name a smartphone on the market that cannot do these things. Apple MacBook event October 14th rumored

While the Apple Let’s Rock event yesterday may have brought joy to anybody looking at buying a new iPod, those hoping for a surprise computing announcement to round out the show will have gone home disappointed.  That, according to Daring Fireball’s John Gruber, was all part of the Apple plan, however; he quotes sources “familiar with Apple’s hardware plans” who say the company is planning an event on October 14th specifically dealing with new MacBooks.
