Apple iPhone HD Leak Gets Further Identification

Apple iPhone HD Leak Gets Further Identification

Well, imagine that. According to Engadget, that iPhone HD/4G impromptu photoshoot in San Jose did indeed include the real deal. Well, about as real as a prototype device can be, that is. At least, that's what they've come to discern from looking over old photos (over two months old, in fact). And, sure enough, it looks like the next generation iPhone really has been sitting in front of us all along.

iPhone 5 gets hd photo leak and video fondle

Another set of photos appears to have been leaked of the iPhone 5, the next generation Apple smartphone set to be revealed - or so we've heard - some time next month. What these photos reveal is some high definition angles on the front panel of the phone showing how it will compare to the iPhone that's currently on the market as Apple's hero device. This next-generation iPhone continues to appear to have a 4-inch display with essentially the same wideness of body that the previous generation has right this minute.

HTC Edge leaks continue: NFC & iPhone-rivaling HD display

Tidbits on the HTC Edge, the rumored quadcore smartphone that could potentially catapult HTC back to the top-spot in Android devices, continue to emerge after yesterday's leak. In addition to the NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor - running at 1.5GHz, supposedly, and paired with 1GB of RAM - the Edge will supposedly include NFC, according to BGR. That's to go along with the 4.7-inch 720p HD S-LCD 2 display with optical lamination.

Apple iPhone HD: How it Leaked to the World

Apple iPhone HD: How it Leaked to the World

There's no room for errors when you're working for a company -- a giant, like Apple. We all understand that. It's been known for many years, and it's only grown in intensity since the launch of the iPhone in 2007. Apple keeps their secrets, their everything close to the vest, and they've got the protocols to make sure that what they're working on stays under lock and chain until they're ready to announce it to the world. But, leaks happen. Unfortunately, for one individual, they just so happen to be the source of the biggest leak in recent memory.

Apple iPhone HD Back Cover Supposedly Leaked

Apple iPhone HD Back Cover Supposedly Leaked

Let's just say that we're looking at these images with one eyebrow raised. Not only are we entirely way too skeptical of these images for our own good, they just don't look like the iPhone HD we'd expect from Apple. Yes, the Cupertino-based company has a love affair with aluminum, but that throws up questions in of itself, considering if you actually want to make a phone call, aluminum is going to make that next to impossible (and it's not like AT&T needs any more reasons to question their network).

iPhone 5S and 5C rumor round-up

Tomorrow an Apple event will play host to the launch of what's expected to be more than one new iPhone device as well as the formal public release of iOS 7. This mobile operating system update to the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch device family was introduced earlier this year at Apple's yearly developers conference WWDC. The devices Apple is expected to unveil are both the iPhone 5S - an incremental update to the iPhone 5, and the iPhone 5C - the plastic-backed so-called "budget" device rumored for many moons, with bright colors all around.

iPhone 5S “31% faster” A7 chip and motion-tracking rumored

Apple's iPhone 5S will be "about 31-percent faster" than the iPhone 5 and include new motion-tracking technology, insiders claim, sparking speculation about the presumed Apple A7 processor expected to power the next-gen flagship phone. "Sources are telling me the new iPhone's A7 chip is running at about 31% faster than A6" Fox News's Clayton Morris took to Twitter to tease, saying that "I'm hearing it's very fast." However, the A7 SoC wasn't the only iPhone 5S chip Morris had news on.
