The folks at Moshi have expanded their iGlaze line of protective covers for gadgets to work with the MacBook Air 11-inch notebook. This new line comes in several colors including white, black, and the one we’ve chosen to check out, Transluscent. This plastic covering comes in two pieces, top and bottom, and covers up everything except for your access to all ports and plugs. And there’s an iPad equivalent, too!
Everyone may be content using Google as their primary search provider, but Yahoo! still has a horse in the race. The company has unveiled its latest creation, dubbed Axis, a new browser designed to make searching more visual and intuitive. Dedicated apps are available for the iPhone and iPad, while Axis serves as a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari on PCs and Macs.
This week the folks at iHeartRadio have announced that they've reached 10 million registered users in just 8 months, that quicker than Facebook, Pandora, Spotify, Twitter, and Instagram. This explosive growth has the radio station application hitting 10 million only in registered users, unregistered users growing even quicker still. Clear Channel Media and Entertainment reports that 98 percent of their overall listening comes from the iHeartRadio app, the app also pulling in "more than 45 million monthly digital uniques" in the month of April.

Apple’s upcoming iOS 6 won’t just mark a shift to a homegrown mapping system but finally see Siri, the company’s personal virtual assistant technology, show up on the iPad, according to the latest rumors. iOS 6 is currently being referred to as “Sundance”, so TechCrunch‘s sources claim, with the codenamed platform update marking a significant shake-up in new and tweaked APIs that developers will be particularly keen on. As well as new mapping APIs, to hook into iOS 6′s new location app, Sundance will also supposedly see the launch of the Siri API.
Availability for the new iPad continues to improve, with delivery estimates for online sales in Europe halved and buyers now left with merely a week's wait before they get their new iOS toy. Listed with a 1-2 week delivery delay in the UK, France, Germany and other European locations for the past few months, the change brings the Euro-zone more in line with the US, where customers have only a few days to wait for the slate.

Low-power screen experts Pixel Qi have teased a new iPad matching panel, equalling the Retina Display resolution but delivering "massive power savings" on Apple's technology. "We at Pixel Qi loved the Apple iPad3 screen, but were shocked by the overheating reports and the massive power draw (8Watts?!)" company founder Mary Lou Jepsen observed on the company blog. "We can now announce that we can match or exceed the image quality of the screen in the iPad3."

Apple maintains it did not mislead customers over the 4G capabilities of the new iPad, filing a defense in Australian federal courts this week denying allegations that it was deceptive in its marketing. Having been targeted by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) amid suggestions that buyers in the country were picking up the 4G iPad believing it to be compatible with LTE or WiMAX networks there, only to be disappointed, Apple has fired back with the argument that 4G is more a state of mind than a fixed promise, The Australian reports.
