iOS 8 Jailbreak Pangu expands to Mac

iOS 8 Jailbreak Pangu expands to Mac

This week the folks at Pangu have expanded their jailbreaking software for iOS 8 to Mac. Before now, their jailbreaking solution worked just fine - just so long as you had a Windows PC to use it. Now you'll be able to use your Apple computer which, if you're a die-hard Mac user like most iPhone owners are, you'll have been waiting for. All of this hacking action is at your own risk, of course. You'll need to use all caution and understand the risks before you do anything.

Delay of 12.9-inch iPad due to Common Sense

Delay of 12.9-inch iPad due to Common Sense

Earlier this year we first heard of the idea that Apple would create an iPad with a 12.9-inch display. That’s absurd, I thought - why on earth would Apple create a tablet larger than their smallest notebook? What possible reason would Apple have for making an iPad with a display larger than the standard iPad/iPad Air size they’ve got today? Surely they can’t be serious?

Where can I get stickers for my MacBook?

Where can I get stickers for my MacBook?

This morning Apple put out a video spot engaging with a wide variety of MacBook Air stickers and skins. These stickers surround the lit-up Apple logo at the back of your MacBook display, often using the logo in odd and creative ways. What we’re going to do here is to tap into the sources for these stickers for you as best we can.

Double Fine Kickstarter game Broken Age now on the iPad

Some would say that, like the game itself, the iPad version of Double Fine's high profile Kickstarter game "Broken Age" was a long time coming. Regardless whether iPad users felt entitled to it or not, considering it was never promised in the Kickstarter campaign initially, the game is here, or at least part of it.

iPhone 5c 8GB and iPad 2 replacement: why moving sideways works

This week Apple has made a couple of moves in their iPad and iPhone collections available on the market that might not make a lot of sense to consumers. For the iPhone, they’ve added an iPhone 5c that works with 8GB of internal storage space - the previous smallest model was 16GB. For the iPad, they’ve gotten rid of the iPad 2 (the last model available with a 30-pin connector), replacing it with the iPad 4 (aka iPad with Retina Display and Lightning connector).

iPad 2 said to be discontinued: non-Retina nearly gone

Apple's second-generation iPad (and the last to sport a number) appears to be ramping down this season. After almost three years of being sported and sold by Apple, the company has apparently seen the sales of the iPad 2 go down to a point where they're ready to retire it. At the moment this iPad is the second least-costly iPad available at Apple, beaten only by the 16GB Wi-fi iPad mini (without Retina display).

MacBook touch patent filed in 2010 – just as Steve Jobs slammed the idea

Supposing you saw the one single appearance of a MacBook with a touchscreen during the Apple keynote "Back to the Mac" in the year 2010, you may be wondering when this device is going to be released. As it was stated then by Steve Jobs - and as the company has maintained since - the touchscreen laptop doesn't work. Today, though, a new sort of MacBook has appeared in a patent application from Apple - one with a touchscreen on it.
