The retailer has gone from a bunch of test stores to now selling Android devices in no fewer than 1,600 locations. Cisco's attempt at entering the massively competitive tablet market has come to a quiet end. The company's Cius product has been set off to greener pastures without even making a serious dent in the industry. It was meant to be the leader in enterprise-focused tablets. The folks at Moshi have expanded their iGlaze line of protective covers for gadgets to work with the MacBook Air 11-inch notebook. This new line comes in several colors including white, black, and the one we’ve chosen to check out, Transluscent. This plastic covering comes in two pieces, top and bottom, and covers up everything except for your access to all ports and plugs. And there’s an iPad equivalent, too!

This week reviewers from several select areas of the world are recieving their Samsung Galaxy S III review units - and private use units, in some cases as well. In one case it appears that Italy has a review unit of the Galaxy S III that they're more than willing to bash up for the good of the public. A new jailbreak hack for iOS 5.1.1 on most iPad models plus the iPhone and iPod touch has been released, Absinthe 2.0, allowing for unofficial third-party apps to be installed on Apple's usually locked-down hardware. The handiwork of the Chronic-Dev Team and iPhone Dev Teams, Absinthe 2.0 promises one of the quickest jailbreaks to-date, simply a matter of plugging in a USB cable and clicking a button.

Apple has officially settled a patent dispute that has been running since 2009, between it and a company called SimpleAir. SimpleAir filed the patent suit back in 2009 in the US District Court in the Eastern District of Texas. This particular court has turned into "the" place to file patent disputes because the judge in the court is known for siding with patent holders against big companies. Rather than go to court, Apple has settled out-of-court.

Details of Dell's upcoming Windows 8 tablet, the Dell Latitude 10, have emerged ahead of the slate's release later in 2012, tipping a continued commitment - for the moment, at least - to Intel. The Latitude 10 runs an Intel Clover Trail Atom dual-core, according to the system specs slide shared with Neowin, and has a 10.1-inch 1366 x 768 capacitive multitouch display with an optional stylus.
