On May 22nd, 2009, OQO confirmed that they would be closing their doors, and that the Model 2+ would never see an official release date. A few months after that, a Model 2+ actually did show up on eBay, and it went with an extravagant price tag of $5,100. Viliv's S10 Blade, the company's 10.1-inch convertible touchscreen netbook, has finally gone up for preorder.  The good folk at import specialists Dynamism are listing seven SKUs of the netbook; the basic S10 Blade comes with Windows XP, a 60GB HDD and 1.6GHz Atom Z530 processor (and thus lacks OS multitouch support), but after that it's Windows 7 all round and a choice of 32GB or 64GB SSDs. LG have outed a new ultra-thin notebook, the LG X300, and it's seemingly using Intel's 2GHz Menlow-based Atom Z550 rather than any of the new Pine Trail chips. Measuring a scant 17.6mm thick, the X300 has an 11.6-inch display, 2GB of RAM and an SSD for storage. Read The Full Story
