Is Apple’s iPhone pricing outrageous or sound business?

Is the Moto X too expensive?

Is the Moto X too expensive?

Yet, if there's one well-repeated criticism, it's of Motorola's pricing for the Moto X; even as it was being announced, in fact, vocal complaints that the phone would cost more than its hardware warranted could be heard. Is the Moto X too expensive? Or are Android smartphones finally reaching a tipping point where overall experience decides worth, rather than how many cores are inside?
