T-Mobile's upcoming G2 smartphone has broken cover, with Engadget being sent images of the new HSPA+ handset in the wild.  Basically an HTC Vision with an HSPA+ modem, it's also now clear that the vague outline on T-Mobile's teaser page hides a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, an optical trackpad and, if the rumors are true, a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen and 1GHz Snapdragon processor. HTC Glacier dual-core Android phone benchmarks spotted: is this T-Mobile’s Project Emerald?

The HTC Glacier has hitherto been a single, mysterious mention buried in HTC's site; now, according to some leaked benchmark stats, it could be the next big thing in Android handsets.  AlienBabelTech spotted the Glacier's scores buried with no accompanying image in the GLBenchmark 1.1 database, comfortably out-performing single-core 1GHz rivals, and since T-Mobile USA are tipped to be working on a dual-core Android phone as part of "Project Emerald" they're guessing it's one and the same thing. HTC Windows Phone 7 smartphone spotted on way to Verizon?

It's turning into an HTC morning, with another leaked smartphone from the company that, unlike the HTC Vision, runs Microsoft's Windows Phone 7.  The unnamed device apparently has an 8-megapixel camera, 3.7-inch SLCD display and 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, and according to Engadget's source is pretty much hardware-ready. Salt-cellars at the ready, but online phone comparison site Omio reckons they've got the scoop on some key UK handsets set to debut in the second half of 2010.  Billed as freshly leaked from an unspecified UK retailer, the roadmap contains such gems as the HTC Vision and hitherto-unheard-of HTC Ace arriving alongside the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8 in October, while November will see HTC's first Windows Phone 7 device together with the QWERTY-blessed Nokia E7 and Samsung i8700 Cetus.
