, Sep 29th 2011 Discuss [9]

The HTC Holiday is expected to be AT&T's first 4G LTE smartphone and the device has just passed through the FCC, signaling an imminent launch. Earlier this month, the handset was caught being tested on AT&T's 4G LTE network with speeds reaching 29Mbps, faster than typical Verizon 4G LTE speeds. However, that was without real load on the network, which AT&T only plans to deploy in about 25 markets by year-end. Read The Full Story

HTC Invites Press to September 20th Event, Android Handset likely

, Sep 9th 2011 Discuss [1]

It’s time for another bigtime event hosted by none other than HTC, manufacturers of mobile devices of many varieties, though we can expect Android for this specific date. Note before we go any further that it’s Fashion Week in the city this event will be taking place in, New York City that is, so a “celebrate in style” note in the invite is more than appropriate. HTC Holiday Prototype Revealed

, Aug 14th 2011 Discuss [18]

In a series of photos taken by a member of XDA Developers forums, we’re here able to see what may well be the upcoming Android device by the name of HTC Holiday. What we can see here is that the smartphone has a massive “CALIFORNIA” sticker or case on the back, this leading us to believe that either the phone will be released with different cases in different regions of the USA OR someone slapped a nasty ol’ sticker on the thing. In addition to this, we’re seeing a rather thin device with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, a 4.5-inch qHD display at 960 x 540 pixel resolution and a very possible AT&T release.
