Pebble Time: color smartwatch returns to Kickstarter

Pebble Time: color smartwatch returns to Kickstarter

That's right: the second-generation "Pebble Time" smartwatch will be launched on the same platform as its predecessor: Kickstarter. This unit is reminiscent of its predecessor, working with a subdued physical design and a newly updated Pebble OS software interface. Pebble Time, as it's called, will be available to backers of this Kickstarter by May of 2015 and will be delivered at a price point roughly double that of the original - unless you're talking about the original price - it's the same as the launch price of the original Pebble and that of the newer Pebble Steel.

HTC confirms ‘new HTC One’ coming at MWC

HTC confirms ‘new HTC One’ coming at MWC

After a series of leaked images and rumored specs, HTC is just about ready to unveil their next phone. In addition to those leaks and rumors, some have been quietly suggesting HTC’s newest won’t be called a ‘One’. While we won’t assume it’ll be an M9, HTC is revealing it’s a One-branded device. In a recent post to their UK Twitter feed, HTC says the new One is coming, and it’ll be here March 1. That’s when HTC is holding their MWC presser.

We may have already seen HTC’s rumored new wearable

We may have already seen HTC’s rumored new wearable

A while back, we got a solid look at HTC’s proposed wearable via a video. Sadly, HTC said it was just a concept device some in-house designer was working on, and we should all just forget about it and move on. We didn’t really buy it at the time, and now we’ve got even better reason not to believe HTC (aside form late software updates). A new round of leaked info gives more details on just what HTC might bring to the wearable table, and it smacks of that watch ‘concept’ we saw last Summer.

HTC Rap music video out of left field

HTC Rap music video out of left field

At some point in the past several weeks, someone at HTC gave the green light to MC D-Bruce and rapper Doc-G to create a rap song for their phone brand. There's a music video for the HTC One brand and an interview between the rapper and the HTC employee as well. This is something you're going to have to see to believe. Once you see it, you will not be able to un-see it, so see it at your own risk.

HTC Desire 626 gets it own set of leaks

HTC Desire 626 gets it own set of leaks

Though HTC is naturally putting its best foot forward with its upcoming HTC One M9, and the One M9 Plus too if you believe the rumors, it hasn't forgotten fans of its more affordable Desire line. Coming on the heels of other HTC rumors is the Desire 626, unambiguously a mid-range camper that is somewhat surprisingly running on a MediaTek chip, instead of the usual lower range Qualcomm lines. Don't let that fact discourage you, though, especially if you're an avid, or addicted, selfie taker.

HTC One M9 leak teases same style but new camera

HTC One M9 leak teases same style but new camera

HTC is teasing big things for its Mobile World Congress event on March 1st, but the surprise may have already been spoiled with the leak of what's said to be the new HTC One M9. The freshly-exposed flagship is, if the tattle behind the prototype is true, markedly similar in design to the existing One M8 - no bad thing, given it remains one of the more handsome and well-constructed Android phones out there - but, much as with the M8's progression from M7, with a number of refinements like slimmer bezels around the screen. There's also what looks to be a notable change in the camera mounting on the back, which lends weight to rumors that the M9 will see some significant differences there.

HTC’s new flagship phone is coming March 1st

HTC’s new flagship phone is coming March 1st

HTC is bringing its new flagship smartphone to Mobile World Congress 2015, with the company firing out invites for a "Utopia in Progress" event set to take place on March 1st. The event, which takes place the day before the cellularly-centric Barcelona show opens, will be HTC's first major one of the year, having kept a relatively low-profile at CES earlier in January. Hints from the invite are scant, but given it's been roughly a year since HTC showed us the One M8, a replacement for that phone seems more than likely.

HTC, known for their wonderful products on their own field, have announced they’re partnering with Under Armour on Record to provide devices for the platform.

HTC Glass “leak” Busted

HTC Glass “leak” Busted

What in the world are we looking at this morning - an HTC headset akin to Google Glass? Absolutely not. This device isn’t necessarily going to make it past the drawing board, but tips from Portugal suggest we’re about to see one of HTC’s oddest devices yet.
