Continuing on our hands on treatments of the just-announced plethora of Windows Phone 7 devices, the HTC 7 Trophy lines up to get handled and photographed. The moment we picked up the device, we were immediately reminded of the HTC Desire. Even the battery cover feels directly inspired by the previously released Desire, featuring the same method of removal, and the same texture. Not that that's a bad thing, especially considering HTC manufactured both handsets. But, the Trophy does feature a (very) small increase in screen size, with its 3.8-inch display.

HTC has announced its range of Windows Phone 7 smartphones, with models set to debut in Europe on October 21 and in the US on November 7.  The HTC 7 Mozart, HTC 7 Trophy and HTC HD7 will all launch in the UK as carrier exclusives, while the HTC 7 Surround will be an AT&T exclusive in the US.  Meanwhile a fifth device, the HTC 7 Pro, will arrive in Europe later in 2010 complete with a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard and broad network availability .  More details after the cut.

HTC HD7 and HTC 7 Trophy leak; Windows Phone 7 devices coming October

Two new HTC Windows Phone 7 device leaks this morning, with the HTC 7 Trophy being spotted in the wild in prototype form, and a very interesting diagram of what's said to be the HTC HD7.  Pocketnow scored the Trophy goodness, and confirm that it does indeed run the new version of HTC Sense that leaked last week (though their pictures don't show it).  Meanwhile WMPowerUser's trusted source sent them the HD7 diagram, showing what's expected to be the spiritual successor to the much-loved HTC HD2.

Mention of a new HTC-made Windows Phone 7 device has popped up in Vodafone's database, with BestBoyz's source spotting the mysterious smartphone on the German branch of the carrier's systems.  The "HTC 7 Trophy" has no details beyond the name, but the "7" certainly suggests Microsoft's upcoming smartphone OS; meanwhile it's not the first time we've heard of the Trophy name, either.

Verizon has announced that it will be releasing the Nokia Lumia 822 and the HTC 8X Windows Phone smartphones by Thanksgiving, giving Black Friday shoppers a chance to nab them for Christmas. HTC was Microsoft's most ambitious partner at the original Windows Phone launch, and the company has a similarly strong line-up now that Mango is on the scene. The HTC Radar is a 3.8-inch WP7 Mango handset with a WVGA display, 1GHz processor and a design that's reminiscent of the Flyer or an ironed-out Legend.
