HTC Bravo Snapdragon Android phone shows up in better photo

While there were several enticing models in the leaked HTC 2010 roadmap yesterday - it's about time someone released an Android-based candybar with QWERTY, for instance - the most interesting was undoubtedly the HTC Bravo.  The company's first Android device to use a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, perennial leak grabbers ai.rs have managed to find a better shot of the AMOLED smartphone.

Official HTC One M9 images & specs leaked on German retail site

Official HTC One M9 images & specs leaked on German retail site

HTC has already confirmed that it will officially reveal its next generation One smartphone at Mobile World Conference in a little over a week, but it seems like one German retailer jumped the gun and accidentally posted the specs and official images on their website early. While the product pages on Cyberport's site for the HTC One M9 have now been taken down, it just wasn't quick enough. The fact that it's this close to HTC's March 1st unveiling, and that retailers often some info early enough to have product listings ready, seems to improve the chances that this is the real deal.

HTC Desire 626 gets it own set of leaks

HTC Desire 626 gets it own set of leaks

Though HTC is naturally putting its best foot forward with its upcoming HTC One M9, and the One M9 Plus too if you believe the rumors, it hasn't forgotten fans of its more affordable Desire line. Coming on the heels of other HTC rumors is the Desire 626, unambiguously a mid-range camper that is somewhat surprisingly running on a MediaTek chip, instead of the usual lower range Qualcomm lines. Don't let that fact discourage you, though, especially if you're an avid, or addicted, selfie taker.

HTC One M9 pics, specs leaked anew; more power, megapixels [Update]

The incoming HTC One flagship — which we all assume is the One M9 by name — is seeing leaks spread around the web of late. Today is no different, and we’re now getting a pretty good look at what the next HTC flagship might look like in-hand. The device, which is believed to see the light of day at MWC this March, now looks to be more of an iterative update than a fresh take on the One smartphone brand.

HP pre-empts iPad Pro with Android and a screaming pen

HP pre-empts iPad Pro with Android and a screaming pen

Apple may be rumored to launch an iPad Pro with a special stylus, but HP has got there first with its latest Android tablets, the HP Pro Slate 8 and Pro Slate 12, packing a pen that uses sound not touch. Offered in both 7.9- and 12.3-inch sizes, the new tablets run Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quadcore processor and are targeted at business users, particularly those who might want to digitize handwritten notes and sketches while on the move. Running Android 4.4 KitKat, they come with HP's own productivity apps, as well as sleek designs that look more than a little like HTC's One series of smartphones with their front-facing speakers.

HTC One M9 leak teases same style but new camera

HTC One M9 leak teases same style but new camera

HTC is teasing big things for its Mobile World Congress event on March 1st, but the surprise may have already been spoiled with the leak of what's said to be the new HTC One M9. The freshly-exposed flagship is, if the tattle behind the prototype is true, markedly similar in design to the existing One M8 - no bad thing, given it remains one of the more handsome and well-constructed Android phones out there - but, much as with the M8's progression from M7, with a number of refinements like slimmer bezels around the screen. There's also what looks to be a notable change in the camera mounting on the back, which lends weight to rumors that the M9 will see some significant differences there.

HTC One 2015 Hima detail round-up: before the fact

HTC One 2015 Hima detail round-up: before the fact

It's that time again - time to get onboard with the next generation in HTC's hero phone lineup. This time around, the device is going by code-name HTC Hima. While no mention of the name "HTC One" has been made in the rumor mill thus far, we wouldn't be surprised if HTC stuck with what's worked for them over the past several years, moving out with an HTC One (place some new name here) sort of nomenclature. After that, it's all about the generational change-over to the newest processor, the best display, and some high-powered camera abilities.

HTC Hima specs recited by benchmark

HTC Hima specs recited by benchmark

This morning we're seeing a benchmark readout which appears to confirm leaked specifications for the next HTC hero phone. This device is code-named HTC Hima, or HTC6535LVW, and it rolls with an odd combination of next-generation features and last-generation features. For example, this device comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor (next-fen) but uses a 1080 x 1920 pixel display (decidedly this-gen.) This device will likely be revealed in full inside the first month of 2015 for release in early Spring - or maybe even late Winter.
