HTC Bravo Snapdragon Android phone shows up in better photo

While there were several enticing models in the leaked HTC 2010 roadmap yesterday - it's about time someone released an Android-based candybar with QWERTY, for instance - the most interesting was undoubtedly the HTC Bravo.  The company's first Android device to use a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, perennial leak grabbers ai.rs have managed to find a better shot of the AMOLED smartphone.

HTC Hima in detail: before the fact

HTC Hima in detail: before the fact

The HTC One M8 was a direct descendant of the HTC One M7. Before that, there was the HTC One S and the HTC One X. Before that, there was a whole mess of phones released by the manufacturer with a lot less cohesive a plan than HTC is working with today. Today we've got codename "HTC Hima" to look forward to. What follows are specifications for the 2015 HTC flagship, along with sensible reasons for each specification affirmation. This is what we'll more than likely see on March 1st, 2015.

HTC Hima details leaked: replacing the One

HTC Hima details leaked: replacing the One

The HTC Hima's details have been leaked this morning by a notoriously accurate leakster by the name of "Upleaks", and the device is said to be coming by March of 2015 - and likely introduced either immediately before or during Mobile World Congress 2015. If past events are any indication, we might well see this device introduced in the first couple of months in 2015 then shown off at MWC 2015 while HTC Desire devices are revealed anew. Also, the word "Hima" is a code-name, not a final name.

HTC One M9 details tipped to dump the UltraPixel

HTC One M9 details tipped to dump the UltraPixel

It may be time for HTC to get rid of the UltraPixel name - and the technology - if today's anonymous sources are to be believed. The rest of the specifications shared this afternoon aren't all that difficult to believe. Just boosts in resolution, screen size, and processor power. The big difference here is in the change in camera - which anyone could have predicted, really. We're crossing our fingers that HTC has something more exiting planned than what basically amounts to a generational kick in the pants.

HTC Desire 620 mid-ranger appears ahead of schedule

HTC Desire 620 mid-ranger appears ahead of schedule

After the surprisingly almost premium yet plastic Desire EYE, HTC is back to turning the Desire line into its low to mid tier range. Based on this leak from Bulgarian site nixanbal, the next iteration will be from the Desire 6XX series, aptly the Desire 620. And incremental update to the line, the leaked specs show a growing trend in what constitutes the baseline for mid-range smartphones, which bodes well for would be smartphone users provided prices don't grow as well.

HTC Desire EYE Review

HTC Desire EYE Review

The HTC Desire EYE seems to have one key point in its favor, at first - selfie power. But it's a whole lot more than that. Instead of a smartphone that's made for taking photos of yourself, the Desire EYE is a surprisingly well-rounded phone. And it's not a mid-tier phone either - in fact it has many of the same specifications as the HTC One M8, the company's current major hero phone. This isn't your everyday average after-thought - it's a re-imagining of the HTC One M8's key points put inside an almost shockingly well made "Desire" brand device.

HTC Desire 820 Camera Testing Hands-on

HTC Desire 820 Camera Testing Hands-on

We've had our first afternoon's outing with the HTC Desire 820 and we've come away impressed. While we did have some hands-on time earlier this year with this mid-range hero, we've been itching to get some camera time. That time is now, and the selfies are here. This is the device you'll remember as the first to roll out with a 64-bit octa-core processor under the hood and an eventual update to Android 5.0 Lollipop - but for now, it's all about the camera.

HTC One E8 leaked to have its own EYE variant coming soon

HTC One E8 leaked to have its own EYE variant coming soon

When companies stumble on a winning formula, they usually squeeze out everything they can out of it to the death. HTC might have just stumbled upon such a winning formula when it revealed its new EYE brand, showing the world that it can go beyond just smartphones and dabble in digital imaging as well. And now, we're starting to see a pattern that would yield a series of device variants that have nothing different from their originals aside from having EYE software pre-installed, like this HTC One E8 EYE just sighted.
