HTC Puccini mass production in June tip sources

HTC's rumored 10-inch Puccini tablet will apparently begin volume production in June 2011, according to the latest rumors, fitting in with suggestions that the originally expected launch date in the first half of this year has likely slipped to July or later. DigiTimes' sources claim the HTC Puccini will have a touchscreen that responds to both resistive and capacitive touch, along with a "touch pen" that can "work on specified software and areas."

AT&T LTE network to go live on September 18

AT&T's LTE network will finally be launching on September 18, according to the carrier's CFO John Stephens. The date was revealed by Stephens during his appearance at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Media, Entertainment and Communications conference. The network was originally set to launch sometime this summer, and although fall doesn't technically begin this year until September 23, we're getting awfully close.

This handset is a Samsung device by the looks of it, employing a slide-out keyboard, an 8-megapixel camera on the back with a flash and speaker grille, textured battery cover, and by the looks of its model number SGH-I927, may well be a variant of the hottest Android device in the world, the Galaxy S II.
