HTC Sense 5 leaks with pared-back aesthetic for 2013

HTC's hardware plans for 2013 have been leaking for some time now, with the 1080p HTC M7 expected to officially drop next month, but a new batch of screenshots suggest the company's HTC Sense interface is also in for a refresh. Less fussy, crisper, and generally shedding some of the "unnecessary design" of previous iterations, HTC Sense 5 is put a greater emphasis on typefaces and 2D iconography, according to the leaked screenshots shared by xda-developers' mdeejay.

HTC sees turnaround November after DROID DNA and WP8 8X

HTC's fortunes could be improving as the holiday season approaches, with newly released financial figures for November indicating the hint of a turnaround amid high-profile devices such as the DROID DNA. HTC took NT$21.2bn (US$730m) last month [pdf link], up from NT$17.2bn in October, and just edging ahead of the NT$21.1bn revenues seen in September. HTC Wildfire S Review

Expectations around the HTC Wildfire S are, a little surprisingly, high. The third of HTC's new Android devices from MWC 2011 in February, the entry-level smartphone replaces the Wildfire, a device which managed to carve itself quite the niche among pre-pay users and the budget or bulk conscious. Now the S-variant comes to further refine the lineage: we're a long way from the Tattoo, but has HTC done enough to keep the Wildfire S relevant today? Check out the full SlashGear review after the cut.

Generous pinch-of-salt time now, but according to one xda-developers tipster HTC are readying their new version of the Touch Pro2, the unsurprisingly named HTC Touch Pro3 (aka the HTC Tera from the leaked roadmap) for launch in Q3 2010.  Apparently informed by a contact at HTC's European distributor, member LocDogg says initial stock of the Windows Mobile 6.5 handset is expected to come in over the Summer, though the Pro3 itself will be going on sale just shy of Windows Phone 7's debut.
