HTC Flyer palm-rejection wins tableteer approval [Video]

As the tablet ecosystem hurriedly juggles to face the new iPad 2 threat, attention turns to slates with differentiating features to see if they've got what's needed to stand their own against the Apple juggernaut. The HTC Flyer's stylus input option may not have met with universal approval at its MWC 2011 launch, but it looks like those keen on digital inking may well have a solid experience with the 7-incher. Carrypad tested out one of the most important features, palm-rejection, to see if the Flyer could hold up to proper pen use.

HTC Flyer tablet a 7-inch Pegatron rush-job for Q1 2011?

More chatter around HTC's new tablet, the HTC Flyer, has emerged, with a new Economic Daily News report suggesting that the company has worked with Pegatron to rush the first model out by the end of Q1 2011. That fits in with previous talk - which pegged the two follow-up slates as arriving in June 2011, at least one of which potentially having 4G LTE connectivity - and certainly paves the way for the Flyer to make its debut at MWC 2011 next week.

Check out how the rumors stack up with what we've been hearing from the mobile grapevine after the cut.
