HTC One VX budget beast hits AT&T

HTC One VX budget beast hits AT&T

The folks at AT&T have just released the HTC "budget" device known as the HTC One VX, a smartphone that by early 2012 standards would have been considered a top-tier machine. Instead it would seem that a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 process and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as well as a fabulous 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixel resolution) Super LCD 2 display are not quite the top of the pack anymore. Because of this, you'll be able to pick this device up for a mere $49.99 on a two-year contract.

HTC Deluxe aka global DROID DNA leaks

With Verizon's DROID DNA searing eyeballs and driving grown Android fans to tears, HTC lovers outside of the US have been eagerly anticipating the global edition of the 5-inch 1080p phone. That's looking like it might be nearing, if a leaked promo shot of the HTC Deluxe - the international version of the DNA - courtesy of arch insider evleaks is anything to go by; the device is obviously free of Verizon branding, but it also lacks any indication of whether it will be a 3G or 4G device outside of the US.

T-Mobile HTC Windows Phone 8X Review

T-Mobile HTC Windows Phone 8X Review

The HTC Windows Phone 8X is without a doubt the finest Windows Phone machine HTC has ever produced, and certainly one of the most beautiful devices they've ever created regardless of operating system. Because we've already done a full HTC Windows Phone 8X review as the device exists on AT&T, the following look a the T-Mobile version will be shorter than your average SlashGear review - especially here since the differences between the devices are so incredibly few. Just as Samsung got wise with the Galaxy S III and having the same hardware and software build, for the most part, for carriers across the earth, so too has HTC kept the fighting "one design for all" spirit here with the 8X, a strong device from all angles.
