HTC confirms February 19 event: HTC M7 incoming?

HTC has sent out invites for a press event on Tuesday, February 19, to be held in New York City, for what's presumably to be the official debut of the much-rumored HTC M7. The invite doesn't drop any particular clues about what the event may be covering, but given the hype-machine has been chattering about a new 1080p Full HD flagship smartphone for some time now, it doesn't take much to guess what the star of the show will be.

HTC reportedly suspends “a number” of 2013 smartphone models

It's never good news when you hear a company possibly deciding to cut back on production of their devices for the future - today's report hits HTC in a particularly sensitive spot with supposed reductions in handset orders for 2013. This report comes from DigiTimes, a publication that, while they've certainly had some high-powered and absolutely correct insider-sourced stories in the past, has been known also to drop some utterly nonsensical bits of un-truth as well - so take this one with a grain of salt.

HTC Verizon event set for November 13, DROID DNA likely

On the 13th of this month there will indeed be an event held by HTC and Verizon at once, bringing on a new device that's quite likely looking like what we've been teased with over the past few weeks - the HTC DROID DNA. This device is the only un-revealed machine we've seen that's heading for Verizon from HTC that's been visible in leaks over the past few weeks, and with the way the market looks today, such a phablet is quite likely to pop up soon. You'll want to stick right here to SlashGear for the big event on the 13th as it'll be bright with high definition and massive display size, one way or another.
