HP ENVY Rove 20 is maker’s first mobile all-in-one PC

HP has announced its first mobile all-in-one PC, the HP ENVY Rove 20. As the name suggests, this AiO unit measures in at 20-inches corner-to-corner, and features a battery, allowing users to unplug it and go cable-free. This differentiates the device from many other all-in-one units, which - like a regular desktop computer - turn off when unplugged. We've got a video of the massive slate after the break.

HP Slate 7 overcomes delay rumors, is available now

We got a look at HP's then-unreleased Slate 7 tablet at Mobile World Congress earlier this year and liked what we saw. HP had said the device would be available for purchase in April, but then a bit of debacle started when its product page was updated to show a revised release date in June. That spurred rumors that the slate was delayed, but then the product page changed again, this time back to April, leaving many to wonder when we'd actually see the device on shelves.

Dell and other Windows 8 tablet manufacturers are apparently experiencing unexpected problems with drivers for their new touchscreen slates, insiders claim, forcing delays of certain models into early 2013. The Dell Latitude 10 and other Intel Atom Z2760 based tablets are now not expected until late January, with sources telling InformationWeek that the problem is in getting sufficiently stable drivers for the power-frugal Clover Trail processors to meet Microsoft's licensing standards.

Slate 2 resurrects HP’s tablet dreams with Windows 7, on sale this month

HP's original Slate 500 was a highly anticipated tablet that failed to make a splash, but found itself a loyal group of followers. Now months after the TouchPad's sadly curtailed run, HP is returning to its Windows stomping grounds with the Slate 2, a refreshed model with some tweaks more appropriate for touch and pen-based input. The new Slate will improve on the first with six hours of quoted battery life - a 300% increase.

HP Offers $50 TouchPad Mail-In Rebate For Pre And Pixi Owners

HP Offers $50 TouchPad Mail-In Rebate For Pre And Pixi Owners

HP may be trying to make up for the upset they caused when they denied over-the-air updates for customers of older Pre, Pre Plus, Pixi, and Pixi Plus phones. Back in February when the company introduced webOS 3.0, they confirmed that phones older than the Pre 3 could not be upgraded. So now, it appears as a form of apology, HP is offering Pre and Pixi owners a special $50 mail-in rebate on the upcoming HP TouchPad tablet.
