Halo Back smart screen cover adds ‘back’ button to iPhone

Halo Back smart screen cover adds ‘back’ button to iPhone

Have you made the switch from an Android device with a back button to the iPhone, which lacks one? If so, you've probably hit for that non-existent back button on more than one occasion, and now there's a solution (or, at least, the promise of a solution). It's called the Halo Back (which probably isn't supposed to be the pun it sounds like), and it is bid as a smart cover for an iPhone that adds back-button functionality for one-handed ease of use. It fits over the iPhone's display, adding very little to the girth, and will -- hopefully -- make life easier.

The discovery was made by a team of researchers being led by Notre Dame’s Nicolas Lehner, an astrophysicist. With this discovery, researchers will be able to discern more about these massive spiral galaxies, including both the Andromeda Galaxy and the Milky Way.

Halo won’t hit Android any time soon

Halo won’t hit Android any time soon

It should come as no surprise that Microsoft wasn't about to release their full-fledged first-person shooter Halo game to the mobile universe straight away. Instead - as was planned and on the books for months - the first Halo game to be released to the mobile universe was Halo: Spartan Strike, and it was released for Windows Phone, Windows 8, and Xbox One and 360 all at the same time. Now we're seeing both that game and the new Halo: Spartan Assault appear for iOS, PC, and Xbox One all at the same time.

Halo: Spartan Strike launches on multiple platforms

Microsoft Studios is once again expanding its Halo franchise beyond genres and beyond platforms. And also unlike the main titles, which are mostly confined to Xbox consoles, Spartan Strike is available for a whole lot more platforms and devices, including the iPad, the iPhone, Windows 8, Steam, and even Windows Phone. Curiously, there is still no sign of an Android port.

Both games include 30 levels of gameplay and have the same price point. Note - if you will - that these aren't the same sort of game that you'll be playing in first person on your Xbox One - they're a completely different sort of Halo.
