Dodge gives gamers the extreme supercar the Viper wishes it was

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has taken the wraps off a few images teasing the SRT Tomahawk Vision Gran Turismo, a mean-looking single seater concept car with a hybrid powertrain and exclusive designation for Gran Turismo 6. It's a big tease, in that three of the images show close-up shots of different aspects of the car but only one shows a full shot...which is far away and obscured with fancy electric trails. No matter: from what you can see it is obvious the SRT Tomahawk concept is a beastly car, and we've a gallery of it after the jump.

Nissan Juke Nismo RS sets 2 wheel mile-long driving record

We usually hear and write about cars that set the record straight when it came to speed, performance, eco-friendliness, and other normal metrics, but there are just some stunts that defy odds and rationality. BMW and Toyota hit concept stage on hybrid sports car deal

BMW and Toyota's much-anticipated - and oft-rumored - collaboration on new sports cars has finally taken a step forward, the two companies revealed this week, but the end results are still far from the showroom. The German and Japanese marques began working together in 2012 on a Li-Ion battery project for EVs and hybrids, which flourished into a team effort on a new, midsized sports car duo with shared architecture wrapped in true-to-brand style and driving experience. Problem is, the project is already running about a year behind the initial schedule.

2018 Nissan GT-R tipped to use carbon fiber and hybrid power

Nissan has been making the GT-R since 2007 and it's a potent beast. The car isn’t exactly cheap in its own right, but it punches much higher than its weight class costing significantly less than some of the cars it runs with on raw performance. Outright performance is a big deal for the GT-R, but it seems Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn has fired up his troops to make a version of the GT-R for 2016 that is more desirable.
