Google’s Next Nexus Phone Details Roundup [Mid-Sept 2011, pre-release]

Google’s Next Nexus Phone Details Roundup [Mid-Sept 2011, pre-release]

Each time Google creates a new version of Android, they work with a manufacturer of smartphones or tablets as well as a processor manufacturer to create a hero device to host a completely vanilla (otherwise known as totally nude, clean) version of their software. The most recent examples of this come in the Nexus S, out for sale now on three carriers across the USA working with Google's latest smartphone OS, Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Google’s Nexus One Could Hit Verizon Wireless With Some Surprises

Hurry up and wait. That's what many on the Verizon Wireless network have been forced to do, ever since the Nexus One was announced back in January. Despite the fact the phone has been listed as "Spring 2010" since day one, that hasn't stopped people from impatiently waiting the handset's launch. It looks like Google is sticking to their guns, though, because there hasn't been much in the form of release date information other than that "Spring 2010" staring at you.
