Google+ Hangouts presents bold threat to Skype

The social network known as Google+ has once again shown another tiny improvement set to make big waves, and it's got us all thinking that Skype may be on its way out alongside all over enterprise conferencing systems. Google+ Hangouts (the On Air version) now has a Full Screen button, this allowing you to turn your entire monitor into your conferencing station. What this means is that if you've already started a Hangout and you know your friend is mobile, you can call them in. The great thing about this is that it works for any kind of phone, just so long as the person being called can talk on it.

Popular four-way video chat app, Fring, has just added a new feature that they're calling "Playgrounds."
