After Intel prematurely pulled the trigger on their Atom N470 announcement yesterday, we've now got official confirmation about one of the first netbooks to use the new, 1.86GHz processor.  The Gigabyte TouchNote T1000 is, as the image suggests, another of the company's convertible netbook-tablets, with a 10.1-inch 1,366 x 768 touchscreen and a choice of the N450 or N470 CPUs. Gigabyte have quietly updated their convertible touchscreen netbook range with the T1028X, a slightly re-fettled version of the T1028M they announced back at CeBIT 2009.  Among the key changes are a switch in processor, moving up to the Atom N280 1.66GHz CPU paired with a faster FSB, and a higher-resolution display, now running at 1,366 x 768. Gigabyte have posted the official specifications page and user manual for their T1028 TouchNote netbook.  The convertible touchscreen netbook was announced at CeBIT 2009, and has a 10.1-inch 1042 x 600 LED backlit display as standard, an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz or N280 1.66Ghz processor and 1GB of RAM (max 2GB). Gigabyte's three CeBIT 2009 netbooks have scored pricing and shipping dates from importer Mobilx.  The Gigabyte M1022 BookTop, which has an upright desktop docking station and the Gigabyte T1028M TouchNote with a convertible 10.1-inch touchscreen will land at the end of next month, followed by the Gigabyte S1024 ThinNote.
