LG Thrill 4G For AT&T Officially Unveiled

AT&T today confirmed that the LG Thrill 4G will be arriving this summer packed with 3D content. The LG Thrill 4G looks familiar because it's essentially the LG Optimus 3D but now tied in with AT&T. We first got our hands on the 3D-capable smartphone back when it was announced in February and now it will be ready for the summer with 4G HSPA+. LG's partnership with Gameloft will also bring more 3D content and games for the device.

Let's talk about the Xperia PLAY for a moment, speaking first about how nice it feels to use, then working in some games, since that's exactly what this device is all about. Let me also preface this by saying that at first I wasn't going to be able to give this device a fair revue because my standards were so high and it'd been built up to be the greatest and most anticipated device of all time by PlayStation fanatics - everything changed the day I got to grab my first hands-on with the device personally and I was able to kick the face of my opponent with Bruce Lee. The second gigantic keynote at Uplinq 2011 was HTC's show, starting with word of NFC, Cloud Data, and 4G. SlashGear 101: What is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Game Pack?

At the Uplinq 2011 conference today, Qualcomm announced that it will be working with game developers to create an optimization program for console-quality games, which will include a "Game Pack" of 100 mobile games for Android. This step towards gaming optimization seems similar to rival NVIDIA's approach with their Tegra 2 processors that are optimized for PlayStation gaming. However, Qualcomm plays it a bit differently by not restricting their games to only Qualcomm Snapdragon powered devices.
