Samsung Epic 4G owners on Sprint may have to wait a while longer to update their devices to Android 2.2 Froyo. Sprint has stopped all over-the-air updates to the device and has taken down the download link for the update as well. These measures were taken after Sprint received several complaints from Epic 4G owners that the update wrecked their phones.
If you own a Samsung Epic 4G or a Sanyo Zio, then you'll be glad to know that both devices will be getting an OS update very soon. Sprint announced today that the Samsung Epic 4G will be receiving Android 2.2 Froyo updates starting on February 21st. The update will be sent in batches as wireless downloads and should be fully accessible by the end of the week--February 25th.
It tells of a story of Duke Nukem in the past where he destroyed an invasion of aliens on the planet earth. He died, or at least disappeared without a trace, but now the aliens are back, and of course, there's more of them, and they're much more gigantic. All seems hopeless until they begin to kill... the strippers. Duke Nukem, even though he's been in hiding or dead this whole invasion cannot stand for this, thus, he is reborn in Duke Nukem Forever! All the alien slaughtering and inappropriate nude body touching, hookers, and swearing you remember from the original, and it's still slated for May 3, 2011, as confirmed by this official trailer.
RED cameras have offered a $100,000 reward for information that leads to the safe return of the stolen RED EPIC camera and the arrest and conviction of those responsible for its theft. The reward offer follows news at the tail-end of 2010 that the very first RED EPIC to reach a customer's hands had been stolen while he was on holiday.
To be an early adopter is one thing, but to be the first person to own something as extravagant as the RED EPIC camera, well that's something completely different. And it obviously puts you on the radar of a lot of people. And some of those people may not have the best of intentions. For OffHollywood studio head Mark Pederson, who was the first person to own a RED EPIC, that lesson came the hard way, when he learned that his French chalet had been broken into, and cash wasn't the only thing taken.
Regardless of what Sony might want you to think, piracy is not the only reason that people want to hack their PS3 to run software that isn't official. There are lots of folks out there that want to put some homebrew software on their PS3 just for fun and to allow them to do things that are cool and in no way have to do with pirating video games. Sony has a history of plugging up hacks as quickly as possible and the company has even went so far as to seek legal means to prevent hacks from being used on the console as it did with PSJailbreak in Spain.
So you're thinking about firing some bullets and you want to fire a LOT of them at a LOT of people as fast as possible in a game where you massacre basically all day long, right? Video games these days are like that, lots of them are, so you've got to choose the right one. How does buying one iffy game sound if you also get a massively popular game's early access to Beta gameplay with it? That's what's happening right now - if you purchase the new "Epic Edition" of the game Bulletstorm, (for Xbox 360,) you'll be granted early access to Gears of War 3 beta.
Wow, I am totally scratching my entire holiday wish list for this thing. ThinkGeek has a replica of the pulse rifle up for sale that is so cool that geeks and sci-fi fans may seize up right now. I know what you are thinking, it is so cool it almost looks like one of those jokes ThinkGeek likes to play in and around April. I actually added the thing to my cart and didn’t get the usual haha, we tricked you note.
Razer's line-up of Naga gaming mice has seen plenty of additions since its debut, and now the company has seen fit to add yet another model to the lineage.
