ASUS Eee Pad EP101TC, EP121 and Eee Tablet get official

Computex 2010 doesn't kick off in earnest until tomorrow, but a few of the big name exhibitors have snuck in ahead with some early press conferences today.  ASUS are first out of the gate with their iPad competition, and they're taking a three-pronged approach: the ASUS Eee Pad will be available in 10-inch (EP101TC) and 12-inch (EP121) variants, and offer Windows Embedded Compact 7 and Windows 7 Home Premium respectively, while the ASUS Eee Tablet is a monochrome digital notebook, packing 2,450dpi touchscreen input sensitivity and targeted at note-takers like students.

ASUS Eee PC 1215N: dual-core 1.5GHz Atom, NVIDIA Ion, Optimus & July release?

More details on the ASUS Eee PC 1215N are seeping out, ahead of the netbook's expected debut on May 13th, and it's shaping up to be a pretty impressive ultraportable.  According to AllAboutEeePC the 1215N will indeed have the new dual-core 1.5GHz Pine Trail Atom N500 processor expected to hit production in July, together with NVIDIA's Ion GPU.  However, unlike the Eee PC 1215PN, the 1215N will support NVIDIA Optimus for automatic graphics switching.

ASUS Eee Top ET2010 multitouch all-in-ones on sale now

It's been a little over a month since ASUS made their Eee Top ET2010 range official, and the 20-inch multitouch all-in-ones have finally made it to shelves.  Fresh to the UK today, the ET2010 range consists of two main models, the ET2010PNT and ET2010AGT, each of which has two versions.  The PNT units use Intel's Atom D510 CPU and NVIDIA Ion graphics, while the AGT units get AMD's Athlon II X2 250u and ATI Radeon HD 5470/5471 graphics; all have a 500GB hard-drive, 2GB of RAM and a tray-loading DVD burner.

ASUS Eee PC 900AX resurrects 8.9-inch netbooks

You could be forgiven for assuming the 8.9-inch netbook segment had died; while we've seen a few convertible tablet netbooks using sub-9-inch panels, predominantly to shave off a few extra millimetres from a machine intended to be carried around, regular netbooks have gravitated to 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 panels.  So, quite a surprise to see the new ASUS Eee PC 900AX, an 8.9-inch relaunch... with a few caveats.
