Motorola CEO Woodside tipped to exit to Dropbox as COO

This evening it would appear that Dennis Woodside isn't planning on sticking around Motorola long enough to see it be taken over by Lenovo. Word from the Wall Street Journal has it that Woodside will instead become the first Chief Operating Officer for Dropbox, the cloud storage group. Previous to being set in place as Motorola's CEO once Google began to run it, Woodside worked with Google for more than 10 years.

Dropbox gets personal and business cloud combo support

Dropbox has refreshed its cloud storage software to support multiple accounts, allowing Dropbox for Business users to also access their personal documents from a single app. Not only can users of the company's mobile software switch between files stored in each different account, Dropbox says, but actually browse the combined contents of each cloud store simultaneously, in a single Files tab list.

New Dropbox beta adds iPhoto imports, screenshot sharing

Dropbox's latest experimental build brings some nifty features to the cloud storage service. Users will be able to easily share screenshots, import photos using iPhoto on OS X, the ability to send outside files straight to Dropbox, and faster upload speed for files. This merely just an experimental build, so some of these features may not see the light of day.
