After Dell CEO Michael Dell confirmed that the company's Android smartphone would, in fact, make it to the US - albeit with some changes from the original Chinese model - details of a second Android-based device have leaked.  According to Tinhte.com and another image supplied to SlashGear, you're looking at the Dell Streak, a 5-inch WVGA 800 x 480 touchscreen Android 2.0 Donut MID, with WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G WWAN connectivity.  Front photos of the Dell Streak - together with size comparison shots - in the gallery, together with a hands-on video after the cut.

Dell Latitude ST and Streak Pro tablets detailed; CEO predicts Android will squash iPad

Details of two 10-inch Dell tablets, one based on Intel's Oak Trail and the other on NVIDIA's incoming Tegra T25, have emerged. According to the tablet roadmap, acquired by Android Central, the Dell Latitude ST is expected to arrive in October running Windows 7 on a 1.5GHz Oak Trail chip, while the Dell Streak Pro will run Android 3.0 Honeycomb on the Tegra T25 and land in June. The leak comes amid Dell CEO Michael Dell admitting that he "didn't completely" predict the "rapid rise of the tablet" and predicted that Android would squash Apple's iPad.

Dell “Opus One” is 2nd-gen high-res Streak for March 2011?

File this firmly in the rumor category for the moment, but according to StreakSmart's anonymous sources, Dell is readying a second-gen Dell Streak for release in March 2011. According to the information - which a Dell rep apparently shared during an internal briefing - the tablet/phone hybrid is internally codenamed "Opus One" and will keep the 5-inch form-factor of the current Streak, but update the screen to a higher resolution panel and the processor to a dual-core chip.

Dell smartwatch hinted as company invests in wearable R&D

Dell is "exploring" wearables designs, with hints that a Dell smartwatch could be in the pipeline as the company again tries to tackle the competitive mobile market. "Looking ahead five years, we expect devices and form factors to continue to change" Dell global VP of personal computing, Sam Burd, told The Guardian, echoing recent research which suggested desktop sales would continue to pale while ultrabooks, tablets, smartphones, and other form-factors rose in prominence. "There's a lot of discussion about how that fits into wearable devices like we've seen with Google Glass and watches."
