Free Angry Birds for BlackBerry 10 early-adopters

BlackBerry isn't afraid of a little game bribery to try to fuel the first batch of BlackBerry 10 device sales, turning to Angry Birds developer Rovio to help gild the lily. The developer joined BlackBerry on-stage in London, UK, to announce that all of its back-catalog of Angry Birds titles will be available in BlackBerry App World from launch, with a freebie for those early-adopters.

Last week, RIM handed out the latest iteration of its developer device, BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha B, and demonstrated a few more details of the upcoming OS and how the company believes it has addressed information-overload. We caught up with RIM in London to talk clever keyboards, game-changing context, and check out the new features for ourselves.

BlackBerry Milan axed as RIM focuses on BB10 and MWC showcase

RIM has pared down its planned 2012 range even further, it's reported, canceling the upcoming BlackBerry Milan after carriers decided it was too similar to the existing BlackBerry Torch. That's no great loss, however; despite appearances suggesting it was a BlackBerry 10 device, the Milan was actually set to run BlackBerry 7, so BGR's sources claim. That leaves just one leaked device still in the pipeline. [Update: Seems news broke about the Milan cancellation even earlier - N4BB had the scoop on Tuesday]
