Back at the beginning of the month, I mentioned that Kia and DC Comics had teamed up to create a Justice League series of customized Kia cars. Under the partnership, each of the core members of the Justice League would have their own customized Kias to reflect the superhero's personality. June NPD: Lego Batman 2 on top, game sales down overall

NPD has released its report of video game sales data for June 2012, and like the months before, it isn't all that pretty. Overall sales of both hardware and software were down 30% year-over-year, dropping from $989 million in June 2011 to $699 million last month. Hardware was the biggest loser, falling a whopping 45% to just $201 million in June.

Limited edition Batman Lumia 900 coming to UK

Back in December Nokia created a limited edition of the Lumia 800 with the Batman logo engraved into the back in order to promote The Dark Knight Rises. Only a handful were ever made, and the last one in existence was given away at a Nokia event last Thursday. Batman has gone through so many iterations that we’ve lost count, but one thing that’s always been consistent is his fantastic set of gadgets and toys. The grappling hook is the most famous of the bunch, propelling the dark knight to the city rooftops. Students at Brigham Young University has been tasked with a challenge: create a grappling apparatus similar to Batman’s that can get four people up a vertical structure in 20 minutes or less.
