Batman: Arkham Knight PC patch just a few weeks away

Remember Batman: Arkham Knight? Know about the PC version? Unless you're one of those bitten by the horrible launch that should never have been, you're unlikely to know about it since it was pulled from the shelves. Hope, however, might be springing eternal. Batman: Arkham Knight PC fix still months away

Batman: Arkham Knight PC fix still months away

Those are the words that no gamer wants to hear, especially after having invested, both financially and emotionally, on what should have been a blockbuster title. But alas, that seems to exactly be the case with Warner Bros. and Rocksteady's failed attempt to bring Batman to the PC. According to a leaked email from a retailer, a fix for the almost atrocious PC port is still a few months coming, which, for the sake of sanity and world peace, we'll presume to be September this year.

The success it saw with The LEGO Movie has spurred Warner Bros. to create an offshoot film called "LEGO Batman" that, predictably, centers around a LEGO version of Batman. When news of the movie first surfaced, it was indicated LEGO Batman would be taking the slot that had originally been reserved for the second LEGO Movie, and that it will be arriving in 2017. Today it was revealed that Michael Cera will be voicing Robin in the movie, joining a cast that largely comes from the LEGO Movie.

Batman: Arkham Night for PC pulled, critical issues cited

Games being delayed because of last minute showstoppers are nothing new. In fact, they have almost become expected. But games being suspended almost immediately after launch is definitely not a common occurrence. So when the PC version of a high profile, highly anticipated title like Batman: Arkham Knight gets pulled from shelves just days after its launch, you can bet that something is terribly wrong. And that is exactly what Warner Bros. Interactive is admitting to on Steam when it announced on Steam that it is halting PC sales until issues are ironed out.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice batmobile gets official debut

The next Batman v Superman movie will be arriving in 2016, and ahead of that launch its batmobile has made its official debut. Such was expected, with the debut happening more or less the way it did with the first Batman v Superman movie -- if you need a refresher, you can check out that batmobile here. The newest iteration of Batman's vehicle looks somewhat the same -- you can definitely see the similarities, which are arguably greater than the differences. The latest one is, though, its own beast.

‘Batman vs. Superman’ official teaser trailer goes live

‘Batman vs. Superman’ official teaser trailer goes live

Earlier this week Zack Snyder confirmed that the Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer would be launching soon, but someone else trumped his claim and leaked the trailer even sooner. It had hard-coded foreign language subtitles and was in exceptionally poor quality, and Warner Bros. moved to get the video pulled down quickly. As with all things on the Internet, though, a handful of copies would appear every time a copy was pulled, and so the studio did what many before it have elected to do: officially released the trailer sooner than it had originally planned.
