, Mar 15th 2010 Discuss [0]

It's fair to say the early reviews of the ASUS Eee PC T101MT were disappointing, in no small part because it felt like we'd been waiting a whole long time for the company's latest touchscreen convertible.  According to netbooklive, however, we may all have spoken too soon: turns out that the hardware we've seen so far has been sprinkled with pre-production bugs; they've got a production-ready sample, and the end result is much more impressive. Ah, the elusive ASUS Eee PC T101MT, the multitouch convertible 10.1-inch netbook that just refuses to arrive.  ASUS have uploaded a new tutorial video to YouTube, demonstrating the T101MT's interface, which certainly seems to suggest that the netbook is on its way.  However, somewhat bizarrely we couldn't actually spot any multitouch gestures demonstrated, only single-finger ones. , Oct 16th 2009 Discuss [1]

Acer's Aspire Revo nettop has just received a welcome shot in the arm, courtesy of a dual-core Atom 330 processor and an extra gig of RAM.  The Aspire Revo R3610-U9012 kicks out its predecessor's Atom 230 chip in favor of the quicker alternative, and pairs it with 2GB of RAM, Windows 7 and NVIDIA Ion graphics.  That should hopefully make the system a little better at coping with non-1080p video tasks, something the first model had issues with.
