Over the past few weeks we've been seeing glimpses of the next big tablet release from ASUS, one that's all but guaranteed to carry the NVIDIA Kal-El quad-core processor, and today according to AnTuTu benchmarking system, we see that not only does this pair exist, it's a powerhouse! What you're seeing here in this post is a stack of benchmarks that've been recorded by AnTuTu (an app which tests synthetically several innards of an Android device including CPU, graphics, and more) and right up on top you'll see nothing less than the ASUS Transformer Prime, complete with a quad-core processor running at 1.4GHz! Below that you'll see another couple of hero devices from Samsung, (including the Galaxy S II from AT&T) but take note: they've only got two cores, half the power!

ASUS Lamborghini VX6S Cedar Trail netbook gets pre-release benchmarks

This week the newest ASUS Lamborghini collaboration in the VX65 has been both benchmarked and teased by ASUS in the form of a lovely new wallpaper. This device is set to be released with a sweet Intel Atom CedarTrail D2700 2.13 GHz CPU, AMD Radeon 6470M GPU, and has a 12-inch display under a hood that looks very much to be a fire red (or orange, whatever you want to call it) Lamborghini sports car. This goes up against the Pine Trail/ION2-powered VX6 Lamborghini ASUS predecessor as well as the Asus EEE PC 1215 running a relatively comparable chipset. Who will come out on top? ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime visits the FCC

ASUS is following up its successful Eee Pad Transformer tablet with the Eee Pad Transformer Prime, which is rumored to launch a week from now on November 9. Further supporting that schedule are documents for the tablet turning up at the FCC today, indicating that the slate is approved and indeed on its way for an imminent launch. And this time, it's sporting a much sleeker look, measuring only 8.3mm thin, consistent with the company's Ultrabook design.

That was fast. ASUS has confirmed via Twitter that the Android 3.2 Honeycomb update will be rolling out tomorrow, July 28, to its ASUS Eee Pad Transformer tablet. The tablet has been incredibly popular for its keyboard dock that turns it into a notebook hybrid, but has likely been a crowd pleaser for its speedy update turnaround times as well.
