ASUS have outed their new ebook reader at CeBIT 2010 this week, the DR-900, a 9-inch super-slim device with an E Ink display.  The ASUS DR-900 - according to the brief PR blurb the company have supplied - has integrated WiFi and optional 3G connectivity, and they reckon it's no thicker than a pencil. Asus has already pulled the cover off a cool new eReader this year called the DR-950 that was tipped for launch in the second half of 2009. The ASUS DR-950 ereader isn't the DR-570 OLED-lovely we've been hearing about lately, but we won't turn our nose up at a 9-inch E Ink touchscreen and integrated WiFi and HSDPA.  So far it's yet to show up for playtime, but ASUS have released a few live images (including some comparison shots with the iPhone) just to prove it's more than a render. ASUS Eee Pad Tegra 2 tablet tipped for Computex 2010; eReaders delayed?

ASUS made little fanfare about their EeePC Touch Series Tablet at CES 2010, leaving it tucked away in a cabinet at NVIDIA's booth, but the latest rumors suggest that they'll be doing all that at Computex 2010 in June.  According to DigiTimes' industry sources, the tablet will be known as the Eee Pad and it will indeed use NVIDIA's Tegra 2 chipset.
