Angry Birds Space teased, may land with Galaxy S III

Angry Birds Space teased, may land with Galaxy S III

The next generation of Angry Birds is right around the corner - a phrase we could say basically any day of the month. But this time it's true insofar as they've announced a brand new concept: Angry Birds Space. This will be an entirely separate game just like Angry Birds Seasons is separate from Angry Birds Rio, and not one whole heck of a lot of information has been revealed thus far. There's a very short teaser out already, and the logo has dropped, but other than that, we're expecting lots of gravity modifications.

Angry Birds Simpsons in Space is next

Angry Birds Simpsons in Space is next

Today an update to Angry Birds Space has been dropped down for several platforms, it including no less than a teaser for a Simpsons expansion in the near future. What this expansion has to do with outer space, we cannot say, but if that's not a Simpsons-themed pink sprinkled donut, I'll eat my hat. This wont be the first time Rovio has chosen to work with a high-class pop-culture act like the Simpsons, and it wont be the last. It will however be the first time the crew has worked with a television show - perhaps this is their ushering in of their own program?

Angry Birds goes giant with Seattle Space Needle

Angry Birds goes giant with Seattle Space Needle

The brand new Angry Birds: Space launch has hit a new level of gigantism with an abnormally oversized Red Bird tied on to the Seattle Space Needle. This landmark gains new meaning as the physics-based entertainment game adds its own 300 foot tall slingshot as fans were invited to the top of the beast to play the game on launch day. Angry Birds: Space cupcakes were given out by Food Network's Cupcake Wars finalists, and there was much rejoicing.

Angry Birds: Space ties with NASA and National Geographic

Rovio's teaser this past week of the newest Angry Birds release to be known as Angry Birds: Space has this week been given a PR boost by none other than NASA and National Geographic! In an interview with Yahoo Games, Rovio North America general manager had a bit more information on the game, especially in regards to what the game will hold for gameplay. We'd hypothesized that Angry Birds: Space would have at least one launch partner, Samsung's Galaxy Note being amongst them, but now it looks more like Rovio will be going to space much more literally!

Angry Birds Transformers released – and not half bad

Angry Birds Transformers released – and not half bad

It should come at somewhat of a surprise that we'd recommend you pick up the Angry Birds Transformers release. It's out today, and it's ready to roll out with... a very strange format. Instead of letting birds loose at your enemy piggies with a slingshot, you're shooting them with your wrist cannons and transforming your body to take them on in 3D space. If nothing else this is certainly the most unique take on Angry birds we've seen thus far. It might even be described as FUN.

Angry Birds Star Wars released in cross-platform gush

Angry Birds Star Wars has been released, the latest installment of Rovio's best-selling fling 'em franchise, this time with a tie-in to the perennially popular LucasArts movie series. Available across multiple platforms - iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, Mac, Windows, and even Windows Phone from day one - and in both SD and HD versions on select devices, the new game borrows the gravity effects from Angry Birds Space but gives the birds themselves Jedi-style powers.
