10-inch Acer Aspire live gallery suggests handsome, sturdy update

Acer are hoping for another home-run with the 10-inch version of their Aspire One netbook, and so far neither the specs nor the estimated pricing has let them down.  Going by Akihabara's brief hands-on, it sounds like the devices themselves aren't a disappointment either; details are scarce (so make the most of the photos) but they do say they "LOVE the new larger screen".

Acer Aspire One landing Feb; March with integrated 3G & Atom N280

Details of the upcoming 10-inch Acer Aspire One D150 have emerged, as the three different versions of the netbook to be available in France are detailed.  The range, which starts at around €329 ($425), will go on sale in February with the entry-level D150-0B, with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of memory, 160GB hard-drive and 3-cell battery.  That will be followed in March by two further versions, the D150-1B and D150-2BG, with the latter having such features as an improved Atom processor and integrated mobile broadband.

Toshiba helped us kick off the week with the announcement of their new TG01 Windows Mobile smartphone: on paper it sounds perfect, with a high-res touchscreen, super-skinny body and all the wireless connectivity you could feasibly ask for, as well as being the first device to deliver NVIDIA's 1GHz Snapdragon chipset.  Check out our hands-on photos and video demos, as well as Toshiba's own GUI demo, and then try and explain to me why I still can't get as excited about the TG01 as I think I ought to be.
