Sony Ericsson has turned to Android to bring itself out of the smartphone slump it was in. Since the launch of the Android offerings for the firm things are looking up. Another leaked shot of a coming smartphone from Sony Ericsson has landed. The device is the Xperia Duo and this is the second time that we have seen leaked photos. This time around, the leaked photo is the official press shot of the device.

Samsung's gorgeous asymmetrical SyncMaster TA950 - and its slightly less striking TA750 sibling - is no stranger to these pages, but with retail availability now locked in we caught up with the 3D monitor/TV hybrids in person. They're no less attractive despite the months between now and their January debut, the TA950 floating neatly on a curving stand while the TA750 juts forward on its more traditional circular foot.

Samsung has thrown some 3D at its new HDTV monitors, and come up with the Samsung 3D LED HDTV Monitor Series 7 (TA750) and Series 9 (TA950). Each available in 23- or 27-inch sizes, the two displays come with a pair of active 3D glasses and support 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution and Samsung's own 3D HyperReal Engine with 120Hz refresh.

Samsung has a new monitor that supports 3D content and a 2D screen that has debuted. The cool new screens include the 950 and the 750 series and both will come in normal screens and in versions for HDTV/monitor hybrids. Of Viewsonic's new ULV lineup from last week it was the nettops that prompted the most interest. The Viewsonic VOT 130 and 132 (on the left) and the Viewsonic VOT 120 and 121 (on the right) offer such notable features as NVIDIA Ion (in the VOT 132), a magnetically-attached DVD drive (the 13x models) and 1.3GHz CULV processor (the VOT 121).
