		<description><![CDATA[Really surprised how inaccurate the info in this article is.  As mentioned below, LaCie was never a rival of Seagate&#039;s.  LaCie is a customer of Seagate.  LaCie only makes hard drive enclosures.  They then buy Seagate and Western Digital hard drives to install into their enclosures.  Also, Seagate did not have a tough year because of the Thailand floods.  Seagate artificially used the Thai floods as an excuse to raise their drive prices, and recently reported that they had one of the most profitable quarters in their history.  ]]></description>
