You would think that they would have made a halo ring that sat on the head, so hypochondriacs could wear it all day long under a hat. (And it could have then had enough leads to be at least as accurate as a mood-ring.)

I agree, it basically says “Yep, there’s a brain-like thing somewhere around here, and its on, or your standing too close to the microwave, either or.”

There is very limited usefulness in most situations that a user would use this on themselves for a 3 lead ecg.

The ECG claim appears suspect to me from the picture. There is no way a reading from any one spot could produce an ECG, let alone from the forehead. A single lead ECG requires two points that span the heart and the medical usefulness of a single lead ecg is close to nil. For medically helpful data it would need a minimum of 3 lead ECG.
